I went to a “low-cost” merchant in town a couple of weeks ago – they quoted me more money for a much smaller diamond with lesser quality AND longer wait time. Plus he refused to look at any AGS diamonds, and couldn’t provide the Sarin/IdealScope/40x images (so I’d have to take his word).

Dear Whiteflash Sales Team,
Just wanted to let you know that the Legato Sleek Line Engagement Ring (and proposal) went off without a hitch ….and obviously she said yes!
We had a great week in Fiji and I proposed on the second night …..we had a cabin on the beach and we had to walk along the beach to the restaurant each night for dinner…. I had arranged to walk to dinner just as the sun was setting (around 6pm) ….popped the question on a deserted beach in Fiji at sunset…..afterwards we went for cocktails overlooking the beach and I had arranged for dinner in the most amazing restaurant I have ever been to! When we arrived at the restaurant there was a $500 bottle of Moet & Chandon champagne that I had arranged!!
One of the best things was that the island was so remote that we had no communication with anyone (no internet, phone or cell reception etc)… the only phone call we made was to Lorna’s father because we wanted him to know first (the resort staff where kind enough to let us use the one phone that they have for emergencies)..
That gave us a full week to enjoy the engagement by ourselves before we got back to Australia to phone everyone!

We are now running through ideas for wedding etc. No easy task given that our families live on opposite sides of the world!

I just wanted to thank you for your assistance in the engagement ring buying process. I received the ring two weeks ago at Martin Fuller’s, and it was appraised for $1000 more than I paid (she also said that it was probably a VS2 instead of SI1 as you said). I proposed this past Friday, and she said yes.

She loved the X-Prong Trellis Engagement Ring, said it looked “huge” and it is the shiniest thing we’ve ever seen. We were in the mall on Saturday and walked up to a Jeweler’s window with a 1.6 ct signature H & A cut and her stone looked 10 times brighter and whiter. We’re both very impressed and will certainly be looking to Whiteflash for our wedding bands.
