Tick – Tock! Time is running out for your to enter to WIN a stunning Diamond Engagement Ring Setting from Whiteflash.com

Following on the success of their first Facebook “Rock the Vote” engagement ring popularity contest, Whiteflash Inc., online jeweler and specialist in ideal cut diamonds, has decided to host a second round of their own democratic election to crown the top engagement ring setting in their collection.
Fun, fresh and engaging, the Whiteflash “Give it the YES Vote and Win” is so simple even the technologically challenged can do it. All you need is Facebook and an opinion! The second round of voting is between two front runners in the engagement ring field. At one podium stands the regal and bold Amphora for Princess diamond engagement ring and at the other is the stately and sublime Isabella diamond engagement ring.
Let’s take a closer look at the contestants. The “Amphora for Princess” stands tall – bold and stunning. Her name derives from a graceful container with two handles and a tapered neck used to carry wine. This elegant ring is truly a vessel to carry an eternity of happiness for any modern day princess! Available in 18K white gold or platinum, the “Amphora for Princess” setting starts at $1,795. She is adorned with an impressive 52 round ideal diamond melee (0.79ctw; G/H VS) and features a tapered band creating the illusion of a waterfall of diamonds.
Equally fabulous, but in a more demure way, the “Isabella” carries herself with a quiet confidence. This angelic setting is adorned with a halo of round ideal diamond melee surrounding the center, as well as diamonds on the sides. (0.26ctw; H/G VS) and comes in 18k white gold or platinum with prices starting at $1,995. She would be a favorite at any tea party!
Scheduled to end on November 15, 2011, the contest will once again reward one lucky voter with the setting that is ultimately crowned the most popular. So, throw your vote into the ring, and let your voice be heard; the democratic process has never been more brilliant!
A tremendous selection of center diamonds can be found in-stock and available on the whiteflash.com website, including the internationally acclaimed A CUT ABOVE® Princess Super Ideal, a perfect choice for the Amphora.
Dear The Whiteflash Sales Team,
I’m glad that I chose Whiteflash for such a sensitive business that is buying wedding jewelry. As you probably know, the diamond for my wedding proposal comes from your company. That first was a great experience as the quality of your process and people are above my expectations. My wife loved the quality of the Super Ideal Cut Diamond and the setting. In business we always say, we are only as good as our last project. So, that first experience made me chose you for the wedding rings. And, as the first time, it was the good decision to make. A friend said of my Carved Satin Men’s Wedding Ring is “simple but elegant”, this comment made me realize that the quality of the ring is perfect. No need of fancy shapes to impress.
Thanks Whiteflash and thanks to all your team to make this process so easy that is hard to believe that is actually a business transaction.
Cheers,
Jimy
Hello Whiteflash Sales Team,
We picked up the Platinum Channel Set Open Cathedral Solitaire Engagement Ring yesterday morning. It is so delicate and beautiful! Truly a piece of art.
I love how the Super Ideal Cut Diamond sparkles even in dim lighting.
I look forward to working with Whiteflash again!
Thank you,
Eva M
Dear The Whiteflash Sales Team,
Good morning, I picked up the Petite Diamond Engagement Ring yesterday and I was extremely happy! The quality is fantastic and the engagement ring setting sparkles like I had hoped. You and your team were a pleasure to deal with from the start. Thank you for all of your patience with me. The shipping process was great, I like how I received updates while the ring was being built. The little extras such as the ring box, kit, diamond certificate, report, and pictures was a very nice touch.
I will recommend all of my friends to look at Whiteflash. In fact, I have already sent your contact information to a good friend who has also been shopping around too..
Thank you again for everything,
Ethan
After a whirlwind 72 days of marriage, the word is officially out: Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are no more. On Monday, the reality TV starlet filed for divorce from her basketball-player husband, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’. While Kris Humphries claims that he is still devoted to the marriage and is ready to make things work, Kim has already hired celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to help iron out the divorce details and make sure that her media empire and all its earnings stay intact. So what made this made-for-TV marriage crumble after only two months? Was it the constant media attention? The pressure of being a Kardashian? The irreconcilable height difference? We may never know. But what we want to know most is this: who gets to keep the mammoth diamond engagement ring that Kris presented to Kim just a few short months ago?
When the petite starlet and media mogul announced her engagement last May, the world was taken aback by a celebrity engagement ring unlike any it had seen before. Estimated to cost at least $2 million, the three-stone engagement ring featured a 16-carat emerald-cut diamond in the center and two baguette side stones, for a grand total of 20.5 carats. The unbelievable diamond engagement ring quickly zoomed to the top of biggest-engagement-ring ever lists and look destined to stay there forever. Then came Kim and Kris’ wedding—a fairy-tale event that featured three separate Vera Wang wedding dresses, millions of dollars’ worth of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, a reception with 440 guests, and a four-hour E! TV special. The wedding reportedly netted the couple a cool $18 million in broadcast rights.
But now that the incredibly short marriage is over, what happens to the ring? Does Kim get to keep it, and if so, what will she do with a ring that undoubtedly reminds her of her very public mistake? The law in most states asserts that after a divorce, the wife gets to keep the engagement ring and wedding band and gets to choose what to do with it.
Additionally, in Kim’s case, rumor has it that Kris Humphries may not have paid the $2 million price tag in the first place. After all, as a New Jersey Nets player, Humphries makes $3.2 million a year—a pretty penny, but not exactly enough to be able to shell out the cash for that kind of bling. Even Kim herself, despite her many endorsement deals, reality shows and paid public appearances, is unlikely to have purchased an engagement ring that costs nearly half of what her home is worth. This engagement ring’s staggering price tag has many people speculating that E!, the channel that airs the Kardashians’ many shows, may have stepped in to help facilitate an proposal that would be sure to be newsworthy.
If, in fact, E! helped pay for the ring, Kim may be forced to sell it in order to pay the network back, or perhaps she will arrange a barter with the network for yet another reality TV special about her life—maybe a confessional tell-all in which she pulls back the curtain on her marital travails. But if the ring belongs to the couple free and clear, Kim will have several options. She can keep it, and have the diamonds reset into a diamond necklace or another ring that will look less like an engagement ring. She can also sell it quietly and move on without making a public statement about it—but knowing Kim, that option seems unlikely.
Kim can give it back to Kris as a peace offering, especially because it seems from their public statements that the divorce was entirely her initiative. In fact,Californialaw stipulates that the engagement ring may belong to the husband, the giver of the ring, in a case where the wedding is broken off by the wife, or the receiver of the ring. The sale of Kim’s engagement ring will at least net a tidy profit for Humphries to help him get over the shock of being dumped so quickly.
Thus ends the tragically short tale of Kim and Kris: with a dozen magazine covers, a highly profitable wedding TV special, a $2 million ring, and less than 2000 hours of married life. Here’s hoping each of them, and the ring, move on to something a little more permanent.
